The tour leads to one of the most beautiful valleys in the Polish Tatras. Until the 19th century, iron ore was mined in the valley. Participants will visit Kraków Gorge, full of extraordinary legends. They will also stop at a shepherd’s hut where they can purchase original oscypek cheese made according to old recipes. The final destination of the tour is the PTTK shelter on Hala Ornak, from where the highest peak of the Western Tatras – Bystra – can be wonderfully seen. It is also possible to extend the tour to include Dragon’s Cave or Mylna Cave – the most difficult tourist cave in the Polish Tatras.
Route: Zakopane – Kiry – Wyżnia Kira Miętusia – Shepherd’s Hut – Ice Source – Hala Pisana – Kraków Gorge – Kiry – Zakopane
